‘Notification on the 2025 Spring Crackdown Plan on PM and Motorcycle Traffic Violations’

 

2. To foster a culture of proper traffic law compliance, a focused crackdown will be conducted around university areas (Korea University, Hongik University) and high school zones on major traffic violations involving personal mobility devices (e-scooters) and motorcycles as outlined below.

 

A. Crackdown Period: April 1 – April 30, 2025 (30 days)

B. Main Violations Subject to Crackdown

- PMs (E-scooters): Not wearing a helmet, two-person riding, driving without a license, driving under the influence

- Motorcycles: Not wearing a helmet, signal violations, crossing the centerline, riding on sidewalks, driving under the influence, etc.
